For the second year, Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes® sponsored the 2009 ESPY Breakfast on July 15th, where Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes® awarded one of four finalists in the 2009 Youth Achievement Award as part of the Earn Your Stripes™ program. The four finalists were nominated from the Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes® partner organizations: Little League International, Girls on the Run International, and Pop Warner Little Scholars. The four finalists included Bailey who Earned her Stripes through Girls on the Run, M’Liyah who Earned her Stripes through cheerleading with Pop Warner Little Scholars, John who Earned his Stripes through Little League Baseball, and Clay who Earned his Stripes through football with Pop Warner Little Scholars. The acclaimed ESPN Talent, Sage Steele hosted the breakfast for the 2nd year and introduced this year’s winner of the Youth Achievement Award to Bailey. Notable athletes that attended the breakfast were Natalie Coughlin, U.S Olympic Swimmer, Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers, Dara Torres, U.S Olympic Swimmer, Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson, U.S. Olympic Gymnasts, and Devin Harris with the New Jersey Nets.
