Our online marketing efforts currently include facebook, myspace, twitter, digg, xgames.com, and athlete/sponsor reach out. Among all these websites we were very successful in executing contests, relaying information to the fan, and adding value to our partners/sponsors for Winter X Games 13. Combining our current users we have around 7K members who access Winter X Games information. Partners this event who directly benefited from this were Fender Guitars, Grenade Gloves, Loop'd, Oskar Blues, SOS, and more.
The following endemic companies helped garnish spectator/viewer support for their team riders by posting Winter X Games information on their websites. Posted information included live competition and TV schedules as well as a link to xgames.com.

Loop’d
This inaugural winter partnership was a huge success. It’s no secret that Loop’d is a popular action sports social networking site, the myspace of action sports if you will. We coordinated and executed a photo submission contest to Colorado users of the website. Promotion included a creative build-out that lived on the homepage of Loop’d and a custom Winter X Games 13 profile page with pertinent event info, web banners, and external links to x games entities. This was also reinforced with placement through Transworld online (web blast to 150K + subscribers and 200,000 impressions via web banner placement. Around 300 photo submissions were collected from regional users across the nation, the top three were chosen and winners were given pipe-suite passes and Winter X Games 13 gear.

An untapped resource in previous years, this year we were able to secure some great promotion with them. Winter X Games 13 was featured on home-page (with link to xgames.com), info and photos were included in tri-weekly blog and in two newsletters featuring Winter X Games 13 information were sent to a total of 15,000 people.
