Now broadcast throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, Aspen-based television was used as the TV link to the community. The morning show ran weekly Winter X Games news, athlete interviews and on-air giveaways from the open of the snow season in November. In addition to the preview content, the station ran daily commercials leading to the event in not only the Aspen market, but also through their Vail and Telluride stations. During the Winter X Games they broadcasted in-depth daily coverage, their morning show from Buttermilk, daily athlete and staff interviews from venue and continuous broadcast of live-feed that was wired from the “Jumbotron.”
Comcast
Comcast aired the Winter X Games 13 :20/:10 promotional spot throughout Colorado beginning in late November and running through the event. Winter X Games poster and schedule cards were included at Comcast call centers. Comcast partnered with us with the online guide by contributing $10k.
KMGH
Aired Winter X Games 13 :30 promotional spot beginning 10 days prior to the event and continuing through event dates. KMGH also provided daily on site editorial coverage and website presence.
